We believe that building a strong film economy and culture in the Ozarks will enhance the quality of life for every Ozarkian.
We empower filmmakers by connecting them with the training, resources, and industry connections needed to thrive in their careers and projects. Through professional workshops, networking events, and access to industry-standard tools, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and sustainable film community.
Beyond industry professionals, we also engage the general public, creating opportunities for them to connect with the cinematic arts and be part of a growing creative economy. Our goal is to ignite passion, create opportunities, and build a lasting film industry in the Ozarks.

Date: Friday, March 7th
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 PM

One of the most overlooked yet essential elements of filmmaking is sound. A great film can be ruined by poor audio, and a well-designed soundscape can completely transform a scene. This workshop, led by Tavish Lawson, a sound engineer and filmmaker, will teach you how to properly record, mix, and design professional-quality audio. You’ll learn about different microphone types, sound dampening techniques, capturing clean dialogue, and basic post-production editing. If you’re a filmmaker, sound designer, or content creator, this is a must-attend workshop to elevate your audio skills.
